But as Antonia Hodgson boards the new book merry-go-round for a fourth time, she’s blissfully distracted. After a long lockdown spent in a rented holiday cottage, she’s finally, within the last few days, moved into her new home in Kent. That’s a lot to be tackling all at once, I venture.

 

“It’s been… just odd,” she laughs, sitting surrounded by packing boxes. “It was like playing musical chairs, where one moment I was running around and the next, oh no, you're going to have to sit here for 11 weeks.”
