Emi Ozmen-Prendergast and Katie Connelly have never met in person.
It’s a fact I discover only 45 minutes into a ranging group Zoom call, the pair cry-laughing and talking as one, putting the world to rights between interruptions from, between us, five kids and three men. The effect, over the course of two hours, is of joyous, lockdown mayhem.
Their friendship is clearly none the lesser for the fact it has been forged over Instagram. So, it's only fitting that their first joint venture has not only been created in the same way, but seems designed almost with social media in mind.
