Seize the day or hit snooze?
During the week, I seize the day. Today? 100 per cent snooze!
What motivates you in the morning?
Going to the new SPOT Design office at The Briggait in Glasgow city centre. The light is incredible and I’m slowly surrounding myself in plants.

My sister and I spending time at our Aunty’s home in the Hampshire Downs, eating strawberries in the garden and blaring some fun festival music from the dining room window.
What outfit are you most looking forward to wearing after lockdown, and where will you wear it?
A handmade denim workwear jumpsuit ,made by my Mum during lockdown using a Merchant and Mills fabric and pattern – hopefully on a date?!
What do you think is your finest quality?
Honesty, and my ability to tell it straight.
What was the greatest day of your life?
Arriving home from six months’ of travels across Mongolia and Thailand to surprise my sister at the airport – my IRL Love Actually moment!
What one item could you not live without?
The surface answer would be the internet. The serious answer would be my inhaler. But the very truthful answer would be the cuddly toy I’ve had for 32 years and counting…
What’s the most useful thing your mother taught you?
To go for it!
What were your highest and lowest moments of lockdown?
Creating facemasks and collaborating on designs was great. Learning some tough lessons about business the hard way was… harder!

Sitting in the sunshine with a good friend laughing about my Bridget Jones-esque single living antics.
And the last thing that made you cry?
Honestly, admitting that I don’t care for myself enough.

Moving to Glasgow from London five years ago without knowing a single person, having only visited for half a day previously for an interview for a job I didn’t get.
What embarrassing memory would you most like to forget?
Accidentally sending a rude text – meant for a friend – about a guy I fancied… to the guy.
What is the greatest life lesson you’d like to pass on?
Everything always works out – a motto I live by.

To open a SPOT shop!
What song will always make you move?
I need two please. Raspberry Beret and I Would Die 4 U by Prince.
And what book will always move you?
I couldn’t choose one specific one – I find myself moved continuously by non-fiction authors who’ve found the courage to share their stories in such a public and permanent way.
What one thing do you avoid at all costs?
These days, hangovers – they’re horrendous!
What is love?
I could write a whole article on this question – as an ambitious woman in my 30s, societal pressures are a bitch! But I suppose it’s about cheerleading, encouraging and challenging each other to grow. I’m single and searching for the answer, but maybe this will get me a date where I can wear that jumpsuit!
How would you most like to be remembered?
For always giving my all, in life and in business.
