So, for the last three weeks, I’ve had to tune into my daughters’ weekly school assembly.


Why were they introduced so late, I hear you ask? They weren’t. But having managed to avoid them at all costs for the first two months of lockdown, my plan was foiled by a Zoom birthday party of all things. As soon as my girls found out about these regular virtual sit-downs, they suddenly found a whole a new level of school spirit and guilted me into watching with them.
